About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while partnering with branch teammates to provide a consistent customer experience. Training and coaching support career growth and mobility. The role also supports branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. A schedule that includes Saturdays is required. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and background screening. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. The base pay range is $23.00–$31.00. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies, including standards related to financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Must comply with applicable policies, procedures, and risk and compliance obligations.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role, with comfort following structured processes and accuracy and service expectations.
Experience building trust-based customer relationships through active listening, follow-up, and consistent engagement.
Comfort initiating outreach by calls, emails, or other channels to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to support customer needs.
Comfort using digital tools and technology, learning new systems, and guiding customers in adopting capabilities.

Use and adopt digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer experience and support evolving banking needs.
Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates and coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists.
Flex between cash handling and customer banking activities, with emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support.
Follow applicable risk programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate risk concerns and support timely remediation.
