About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor provides direction, leadership, and management for the Olathe Distribution Center, creating and executing operational processes to meet business objectives and goals. The role supervises Outbound Operations as part of the department’s supervisory team and collaborates with leaders across the organization to meet distribution and customer expectations. This full-time position is based in Olathe, Kansas, and is scheduled for the first shift, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience in distribution in a substantially similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising, selecting, coaching, mentoring, and training staff.
• Experience and/or training in identifying, developing, and reporting operations- or distribution-related metrics.
• An associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or at least 2 years of work experience performing a substantially similar role.
• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift, with repetitive motion and regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing may be required.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally; team lifting or material-handling equipment is used for items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver short- and long-term projects that support the business strategy.
• Ensure products are picked, checked, and shipped according to established standards and current procedures.
• Ensure productivity and quality standards are met.
• Determine work procedures, prepare and expedite workflow, assign duties, and examine work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure crew members have the appropriate equipment and tools to perform their jobs.
