About The Position

Handsome Brook Farms is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead shipping and receiving operations at its egg grading facility in Brooks, Kentucky. The role takes ownership of the warehouse floor, optimizes logistical workflows, and develops a safety-first team culture. The position is full-time.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of comprehensive warehouse experience covering both shipping and receiving.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated success in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Deep working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and shipping documentation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Nice To Haves

• English/Spanish bilingual ability is strongly preferred.
• Warehouse experience in food processing or commercial food packaging is ideal.
• Solid understanding of food safety plans, quality regulations, SQF, and HACCP frameworks is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, coach, and manage performance for the warehouse team, fostering accountability and growth.
• Build and maintain an efficient shipping and receiving department, streamlining workflow scheduling, picking, packing, staging, and delivery schedules.
• Manage inventory accuracy through physical counts and reconciliation, and enforce a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory system.
• Coordinate with trucking services and shipping coordinators to ensure timely, accurate loading and unloading.
• Oversee daily adherence to OSHA, FDA, SQF, and HACCP standards.
• Maintain a clean facility through the Master Sanitation schedule and uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ensure routine maintenance and safe operation of forklifts and other material handling machinery.
