Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or logistics operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, inventory processes, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on safety, accuracy, and team performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations for a workforce of up to 50 associates, ensuring productivity, accuracy, efficiency, and safety goals are achieved.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign work based on operational demands and staffing levels while adapting to changing business needs.
  • Monitor operational performance and provide reporting to leadership.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop employees while providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Partner with Warehouse Management and Human Resources to address attendance, performance, and corrective action matters.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a safe and productive work environment.
  • Serve as a keyholder responsible for opening, closing, and securing the facility.
  • Oversee operational documentation, ensure effective communication with internal stakeholders, and supervise the safe operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
