About The Position

Johnstone Supply is seeking a hands-on, high-energy Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and a dedicated team. The role oversees daily warehouse activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and works with purchasing, sales, and customer service to support customers. The position pays $25–$30 per hour.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience supervising a warehouse team.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
Experience using warehouse software and Microsoft Office.
A forklift license or willingness to become certified.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain active throughout the shift.
Commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse supervisory experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building supplies.
Warehouse management system (WMS) experience.
Forklift certification; certification assistance may be available.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a warehouse team to ensure smooth daily operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Maintain accurate inventory through organization, regular cycle counts, and clear documentation.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring safety, speed, and accuracy.
Train new team members and promote a safety-first culture.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Work with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to solve problems and exceed customer expectations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for continuous improvement.
