About The Position

The SSA Group is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for its warehouse team at Riverbanks Zoo & Garden. The role executes and delegates daily warehouse duties under the direction of the Warehouse Management Team, supervises Warehouse Associates, and coordinates with Food & Beverage locations to maintain stock and fulfill daily requisition orders. The supervisor helps manage inventory, storage, receipt, and distribution of supplies and equipment, while maintaining a clean, safe, organized workplace and ensuring compliance with applicable health and safety regulations. The position also supports an inclusive and supportive team environment, encourages growth and opportunity for team members, models sustainability and conservation efforts, and contributes to community engagement activities. The role reports to the Food Service Operations Manager(s). Work hours and days may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The position involves standing for extended periods and handling boxes weighing 10–35 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

Execute and delegate daily warehouse duties under the direction of the Warehouse Management Team.
Supervise Warehouse Associates and assist with incoming calls.
Work with Food & Beverage locations to ensure they are properly stocked and fulfill daily requisition orders.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow established control procedures for cataloging, inventory control, bulk storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and supplies, and help maintain the supply system.
Assist with receiving, storing, and distributing supplies and equipment in large, centralized warehousing operations.
Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
Promote an inclusive and supportive approach within the Brand team and continue networking across units.
Focus on removing barriers and empowering growth and opportunity for team members at all levels.
Lead by example through sustainability and conservation efforts, demonstrate knowledge of their business application, and provide opportunities to teach unit staff as needed.
Engage with SSA and the unit in community efforts through engagement activities and opportunities to give back.
Perform other tasks as necessary.
