About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse activities and works wherever needed to meet the day’s demands. The role supervises crews performing multiple functions across warehouse areas, assigns work, and helps lead inventory control, receiving, shipping, and order processing. The supervisor enforces company policies and procedures, administers discipline promptly and consistently according to company policy, and maintains a professional and productive work environment. The position is scheduled for second shift, 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong computer, data-entry, and Excel skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and react quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to drive a forklift when needed.
• Ability to supervise staff and delegate tasks.
• Good English reading and math skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per day, standing on a concrete surface.
• Ability to work in temperatures that vary from summer temperatures to lower temperatures in winter.
• Ability to push, pull, and pick up cartons weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to climb a flight of stairs multiple times throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Coach warehouse associates and assign their workload.
• Help lead warehouse associates in inventory control, receiving, shipping, and order processing.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the corporate office and customers by email or phone.
• Issue performance appraisals and disciplinary write-ups.
• Oversee cycle counting and inventory adjustments.
• Generate and analyze reports to promote inventory integrity.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual physical inventory.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and a productive work environment.
• Help build a warehouse culture centered on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Enforce company policies and procedures and administer disciplinary actions fairly and consistently.
• Work where needed to complete daily warehouse demands.
