About The Position

Tyson Foods is actively hiring Warehouse Supervisors and encourages U.S. military veterans to apply. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee a warehouse team, ensuring adherence to company policies and laws, managing operations, maintaining inventory, and promoting a safe and food-safe work environment. Military experience, particularly in logistics, maintenance, transportation, or team leadership, may be considered in lieu of traditional warehouse or supervisory experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent military or civilian experience (3 years)
  • Warehouse or supervisory experience preferred but not required
  • Basic computer skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter with a desire to learn and the ability to lead others
  • Some travel may be required for training
  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Veterans with backgrounds in logistics, maintenance, transportation, or team leadership may have directly transferable skills.
  • Relevant military backgrounds may include (but are not required): Army: 92A, 92Y (Supply & Inventory), 88M (Transportation), 91B/91X/91Z (Maintenance Leadership), 11B/11C (Team Leadership); Air Force: 2A / 2R (Maintenance & Production), 3E (Facilities & Operations), 2T (Logistics Readiness); Navy: LS (Logistics), MM / EM / GSM (Mechanical & Electrical Operations); Marine Corps: 3043 (Supply), 21XX / 13XX maintenance and logistics roles.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse team members in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Train, schedule, assign, and direct work; manage overtime as needed
  • Evaluate performance, address employee concerns, and support discipline processes
  • Maintain accurate inventory for internal product movement and external vendor receipts
  • Manage housekeeping and organization in warehouse and dock areas
  • Ensure product quality and food safety processes are followed consistently
  • Promote a safe work environment and follow all Tyson Foods safety and policy procedures
  • Perform other duties as business needs require
