About The Position

Daikin Applied is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for its onsite Reno, Nevada location on 1st shift. The position coordinates shipping and receiving operations, supports customer service, and helps improve warehouse procedures, profitability, customer support, and employee well-being. The supervisor assigns and schedules work based on available resources and shipping volumes, trains and monitors employees, administers company policies, and works with other departments to resolve business problems.

The typical annual base salary range is $59,500 to $97,900 in Nevada. Individual base pay depends on factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employment is contingent on completing pre-employment requirements, which may include employment history and education verification, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate communications between shipping and receiving and the customer service and purchasing groups to support customers.
• Develop, maintain, and execute procedures for handling, packaging, labeling, shipping, and receiving materials.
• Assign daily responsibilities to shipping and receiving employees based on resource availability and inbound and outbound shipping volumes.
• Schedule temporary employees as needed based on resource availability and inbound and outbound shipping volumes.
• Train and monitor shipping and receiving employees on job functions, company policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate communication between shipping and receiving and other departments to improve warehouse customer service.
• Develop improvements to warehouse policies and procedures to promote profitability, customer support, and employee well-being.
• Work with other groups within the Daikin parts organization to resolve business problems.
• Administer company policies as needed.
