About The Position

The primary focus of the Warehouse Supervisor is to oversee and participate in the daily packing and palletizing of produce orders. This position is responsible for leading our team of packing employees and overseeing all setup, efficiency and maintaining work spaces. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager ensuring accurate picking and packing of customer orders. In addition to packing responsibilities, this position will have immediate supervision responsibility for all employees working on the Packing team by ensuring that employees follow company guidelines and adhere to company policies. This is a full-time, exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. The schedule consists of 5 shifts per week, with daily shifts scheduled anytime between Sunday and Saturday.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 -3 years’ prior warehousing experience.
  • 3 -5 years prior supervisory experience.
  • Position requires the ability to pass a forklift certification test.

Responsibilities

  • Lead packing team in setup, efficiency, accuracy and clean-up of the packing work area.
  • Responsible for the daily printing of pick tickets, member fresh sheets, and notes to be included in the delivery as needed.
  • Ensure that pallets are built in the proper sequence to ensure an efficient delivery experience for drivers.
  • Prepare the packaging area, including necessary labels and packaging inserts.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Ensures product and service quality within the warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards for the customer.
  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of the effective supervision, training, development, and safety of personnel, evaluating and improving work performance.
  • Plans & coordinates work hours for shipping & receiving schedules for inbound & outbound deliveries of goods and services.
  • Assist in payroll activities such as recording hours of work, processing time records.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including interviews, hiring, and performance management.
  • Ensure new hires receive appropriate training and information.
  • Provide feedback and counseling to employees.
  • Ensure that all employees are on time for scheduled shifts.
