About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, safe, and accurate handling of inventory and shipments. This position is responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, coordinating workflow, and maintaining compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures that all incoming and outgoing goods are processed timely and accurately, supporting overall supply chain effectiveness. They also monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse productivity. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless operation of the warehouse, supporting customer satisfaction and business growth.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety practices.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong organizational and leadership skills daily to manage team workflows and ensure operational efficiency.
Effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with staff and other departments, as well as for training and mentoring team members.
Analytical skills are applied when monitoring inventory levels, conducting audits, and identifying process improvements.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and technology supports accurate tracking and reporting of inventory and shipments.
A solid understanding of safety regulations and physical stamina are critical to maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
Experience with forklift operation and certification.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership training or certification.

Responsibilities
