About The Position

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, including remote warehouse sites located at customer locations across Central Canada. This role ensures work is completed in compliance with company quality and safety standards while supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The Supervisor will work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to manage and prioritize assignments in line with production schedules and service demands. This role also plays a key part in driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving system and process challenges across multiple locations. The role will require regular travel to remote warehouse locations and customer sites to ensure operational excellence and strong client support.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement across warehouse operations, including the development of improved processes.
  • Assign duties to warehouse technicians to meet operational requirements and customer delivery timelines.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and coordinate periodic stock audits.
  • Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support employee development.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety; collaborate with parts group management and EHS to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse system and procedure issues.
  • Support the implementation, setup, and onboarding of new technicians.
  • Conduct performance reviews with guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure proper staffing coverage and scheduling, including vacation planning.
  • Oversee and support remote warehouse operations at customer sites across Central Canada.
  • Travel regularly to remote locations to ensure compliance, performance, and customer alignment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all safety policies and applicable regulations.
  • Identify and report unsafe work habits, incidents, and near misses.
  • Perform risk assessments (“Take Five”) prior to tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Attend EHS training sessions.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
