About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor plans and executes daily manpower requirements for the current day and week while keeping overtime to a minimum. The role leads shift meetings, assigns daily duties to warehouse workers, manages workflow, and supports employee understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures. The supervisor also maintains statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment. The position is full-time on the evening shift, 3:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.; hours may vary based on business needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and 3 to 5+ years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1+ years of people leadership experience; or a high school diploma/general education degree and 5+ years of warehouse experience and 2 to 3+ years of people leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily manpower requirements for the current day and week, keeping overtime to a minimum.
• Conduct daily shift meetings, communicating appropriate safety and operational messages, taking suggestions, and answering questions.
• Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers to help ensure safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements are met.
• Manage workflows efficiently.
• Provide training, support, and direction to employees to ensure understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.
