About The Position

Certco, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for its Femrite Drive location in Madison, Wisconsin. The supervisor leads and coordinates warehouse employees during third-shift operations, overseeing workflow, productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safe work practices. The role includes setting priorities, coaching and training employees, managing performance and employee relations, addressing operational issues, coordinating across shifts, and communicating production details to the Director of Warehousing and other shift leaders. The supervisor also responds to customer inquiries about orders, maintains an organized warehouse, monitors inventory movement through the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and supports operational improvements and other warehouse functions as needed. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Excellent math skills.
Three years of related experience.
Experience leading or supervising employees in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment.
Experience working with powered industrial equipment.
Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving functions.
Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.
Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with customers, coworkers, and business contacts.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to make decisions, address problems directly, remain composed under pressure, and hold employees accountable.
Schedule availability for Sunday through Thursday, 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

Nice To Haves

D.O.T. and logistics experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, support, and coordinate warehouse employees during third-shift operations.
Set team expectations, communicate priorities, and monitor daily workflow, productivity, accuracy, and quality.
Coach employees, provide feedback, mentor team members through on-the-job training, and help develop their skills.
Train and evaluate equipment operators.
Address employee questions, concerns, performance issues, and operational problems; take appropriate disciplinary steps as needed.
Promote employee safety and ensure compliance with safety programs, company policies, and procedures.
Help ensure proper staffing and coverage for the department.
Coordinate operations between shifts and communicate production details to the Director of Warehousing and other shift leaders.
Respond to customer inquiries about orders and support customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and ensure proper product handling.
Monitor WMS activity to ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory movement.
Identify operational issues and opportunities to improve processes and warehouse efficiency.
Complete required documentation and communicate important information to management.
Maintain regular attendance and comply with the Company Attendance Policy.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
