About The Position
The Distribution Center Supervisor oversees critical warehouse operations and leads multiple teams to ensure orders move safely, accurately, and efficiently through the distribution network. The role makes a direct impact on customer satisfaction and offers an opportunity to develop a leadership career. The supervisor leads daily activity across receiving and inbound operations, order processing and case pick, shipping and loading, returns processing, inventory replenishment, and general warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of distribution, warehouse, logistics, or operations experience.
- Leadership experience supervising teams in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
- Monitor productivity and balance workloads to meet operational goals.
- Create a safe, positive, and high-performing work environment.
- Provide training, tools, and resources to help associates succeed.
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and resolve escalated issues.
- Identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Support inventory accuracy and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain operational reports and performance documentation.
