Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years previous leadership or supervisor experience with increasing responsibility in a customer order fulfillment environment.
  • Ability to lift, slide and lower packages up to 50 lbs. and possibly up to 75 lbs. may be needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, SAP and warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Customer Order Fulfillment, Inbound Receiving, and Inventory Control.
  • Provide direct leadership to up to 30 team members.
  • Ensure accurate receipt of product, order fulfillment and the optimization of resources and processes to provide customers with the products they need on time.
  • Manage processes to ensure compliance, implement improvements and promote programs that create an environment where team members are engaged and empowered.
  • Use production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial, and other important data to analyze performance and identify process variations or exceptions resulting in lower-than-expected performance and communicate issues to leadership team.
  • Support Distribution Center wide projects and help ensure all deliverables (e.g. action items, process improvements) are completed by the commitment date.
  • Create a dynamic workplace that effects positive employee relationships by developing employee engagement and recognition programs and ensuring all employees are treated fairly, with respect, and have the tools necessary to perform their jobs.
  • Manage the development process for non-exempt direct reports which may include training, supporting development goals, provide feedback, complete performance evaluations, and recognition and disciplinary action.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and the use LEAN, DMAIC, Six Sigma tools and programs and implement solutions to improve results and operations excellence.
  • Emphasize training and implement audit systems to eliminate process variation or discrepancies and to ensure compliance with Company, and other governmental agencies (e.g. OSHA, DOT, and EPA).
