About The Position

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools and equipment, and transmissions. The Warehouse Stocking Supervisor plans, guides, and directs team members and team leads to meet inventory replenishment demands, productivity expectations, and deadlines. The role includes operational oversight, administrative work, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and employee training. The supervisor leads stocking agents and supports coordination across shipping, receiving, inventory, and accounting functions. Weekend work is required.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends.
2–3 years of hands-on supervisory experience.
At least 1 year of stocking experience.
Experience in supervision and team building.
Experience with a WMS or inventory management system and RF technology.
Ability to multitask and adjust to fluctuations in order flow.
Self-starter able to identify production delays and proactively help restore progress.
Experience tracking metrics, including team-member productivity KPIs.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Strong customer-relations skills.
Strong team and personnel management skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated drive to achieve results.
Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; stand and walk for up to 10 hours; squat, bend, and reach; and safely climb and descend stairs at locations with stairs.
Ability to operate powered equipment such as a forklift or cherry picker.
Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high level of shipping productivity and efficiency.
Oversee Internet shipping processes, including picking, sorting, packing, and processing, to meet customer deadlines.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and plan, coordinate, train, motivate, monitor, and evaluate receiving associates.
Ensure shipping associates can safely operate material-handling equipment.
Develop crew leaders to oversee the daily routines of assigned team members.
Maintain equipment at a level that supports safe and effective shipping operations.
Monitor merchandise loading and staging, and ensure shipping reports accurately identify merchandise ready to ship.
Ensure shipments are complete and in acceptable condition.
Help resolve discrepancies with accounting involving invoices, packing slips, and stocking reports.
Monitor the flow of paperwork from inventory control to shipping for timely data entry.
Assist with training new associates.
Maintain effective cross-functional and interdepartmental communication.
Assist receiving and inventory supervisors with navigating and prioritizing incoming products.
Frequently monitor systems and email to support customer satisfaction.
Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Lead and supervise a team of stocking agents; counsel, document, and discipline shipping associates as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the shipping department.
Ensure safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards.
Ensure 5S warehouse principles are routinely administered and followed.
Direct movement of shipments from the receiving platform to stocking and work areas.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
