About The Position

AGL is hiring a Warehouse Specialist to work on-site in Fort Carson, Colorado, with 75% travel. The role performs a range of warehousing tasks, including receiving, inspecting, storing, inventorying, and preparing materials for shipment. Work is performed in accordance with established storage methods and plans and may involve operating forklifts or other hand and power trucks. The position requires working knowledge of Army logistics systems, which varies by work location.

Requirements

• US nationality or citizenship and residence, with verbal and written fluency in English.
• Extensive working knowledge of AESIP, Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-A) application software, or Logistics Information System (LIS) Installation Support Modules (ISM), depending on work location.
• Ability to pass a background security investigation and drug/alcohol screening before employment.
• Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) within 87 days of employment.
• Submit GCSS-A knowledge certifications for selection to the position.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.
• Completed prerequisite training for Army MOS 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist) or MOS 92Y (Supply Specialist), or equivalent training.
• 4–6 years of warehousing experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify materials against receiving documents; note and report discrepancies and obvious damage.
• Route materials to prescribed storage locations and store, stack, or palletize them according to established methods.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials; inspect stored materials and report deterioration or damage.
• Remove materials from storage and prepare them for shipment.
• Perform warehousing duties with an understanding of the establishment's storage plan and the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP), as directed.
• Operate hand or power trucks, including forklifts, as needed.
• Perform duties effectively and efficiently.
