Heavy Truck Driver w/ 75% Travel
About The Position
The Heavy Truck Driver operates a straight truck with a rated capacity of 1 1/2 to 4 tons to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between establishments, including manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail locations, and customers’ homes or places of business. The driver may load or unload the truck, with or without assistance, perform minor mechanical repairs, and maintain the truck in good working order. The position is on-site and lists a pay rate of $28.75, plus $5.09 for Health & Welfare.
Requirements
- Commercial Driver’s License for a Heavy Truck Driver.
- At least 4 years of truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening.
- Valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain a CAC.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
