About The Position

As a Warehouse Supervisor at SwiftX Inc., you will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including sorting and dispatching. The role manages staff and coordinates with delivery service providers to ensure smooth operations and support the effectiveness of the logistics network and customer satisfaction. The position leads automated parcel sorting operations, oversees sorting machinery and related equipment, coordinates staffing and staffing agencies, and maintains operational compliance and safety. It also manages parcel flow and dispatch coordination, ensures service-level requirements are met, and produces operational reports to identify bottlenecks and improvements. The posting lists separate compensation for Specialist and Supervisor roles: Specialist, 20–25 plus a 10% bonus; Supervisor, $60,000–$70,000 plus a 20% bonus.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or last-mile logistics operations.
Hands-on experience with automated sorting machines, such as cross-belt, tilt-tray, or loop sorters.
Strong understanding of parcel logistics, last-mile delivery flow, and SLA requirements.
Proven ability to manage large operational teams, including staffing-agency workers.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in WMS, scanning systems, Excel/Sheets, and operational dashboards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end automated parcel sorting operations, including scanning, induction, sorting, and dispatching last-mile packages.
Monitor sorting-line throughput, accuracy, and downtime; optimize workflows for capacity, speed, and cost efficiency.
Operate and supervise automated sorting machines and related equipment.
Coordinate preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair requests, working with vendors and technicians to resolve issues.
Forecast labor requirements and coordinate daily and weekly staffing needs.
Manage staffing-agency relationships and oversee onboarding, training, scheduling, and productivity of temporary and full-time workers.
Monitor labor KPIs, including attendance, efficiency, and performance.
Enforce warehouse safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and quality standards; conduct safety audits, equipment checks, and compliance reviews.
Ensure employees follow SOPs, scanning rules, and parcel-handling standards.
Maintain visibility into parcel volume, flow, backlog, and exceptions.
Coordinate with linehaul, dispatch, and last-mile delivery teams, and ensure parcel-processing and outbound-dispatch SLAs are met.
Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports, analyze data to identify bottlenecks, drive improvements, and present performance updates to senior management.
