About The Position

The Warehouse Shuttle Driver is a member of Land O’Lakes, Inc.’s warehousing team and performs front-line processes that support successful delivery of final products. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, packing and loading products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing warehouse areas. The driver operates a forklift daily and uses other plant machinery and equipment as needed. This position is part of the Omnium business, which partners in manufacturing crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products. The first-shift schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and pay is $24.50 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have at least 1 year of work experience in any industry.
Have basic computer and math skills.
Be able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
Be willing to learn new skills, solve problems, and troubleshoot.
Have strong collaboration and communication skills and consistently show respect.
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Perform frequent active movements, including walking, standing, bending or stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and climbing.
Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
Work for extended periods in cold and/or hot temperature zones, potentially in areas where dust and chemicals are present.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of warehousing work experience.
Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety processes and insist on safe practices by self and others.
Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
Process work orders by selecting the correct products from racks, palletizing and shrink-wrapping them, and staging orders for delivery.
Handle multiple tasks and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Follow all standard operating procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Obtain successful forklift certification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
