This position is responsible for processing shipments in the Sturges ERP System according to customer specifications and company requirements. The role involves preparing customer-specific labels, Certificates of Conformance, and processing shipments through various computer systems and online portals. A key aspect of this role is identifying and resolving discrepancies to prevent customer complaints, coordinating with freight companies for pick-ups, and requesting necessary details for export orders. The administrator will also coordinate daily shipments with Production Supervisors, verify order accuracy, assist with boxing and palletizing, maintain shipping documentation, manage shipping material inventory, and assist with cycle counts. Maintaining a neat and clean work area is also a responsibility.
