About The Position

The Warehouse Shift Leader facilitates warehouse operations to ensure Benjamin Steel meets or exceeds customer expectations safely and efficiently, consistent with company policy. The role trains, leads, and develops staff; verifies loads and documentation; coordinates shift processing schedules; monitors warehouse conditions; and assists with maintaining a clean, safe warehouse. Good attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehousing, production, or other related leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent organizational, math, logistical, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead staff, maintain confidential information, balance a variety of tasks, and represent the Company's best interests.

• Knowledge of warehousing, material processing, and product applications.

Responsibilities

• Train, lead, and develop staff to meet company and individual goals.
• Verify all loads for accuracy, identification, appearance, and safety.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy and report quantity and condition to the Superintendent.
• Complete paperwork and documentation accurately for receiving, shipping, and stocking material.
• Coordinate processing schedules for the shift and monitor the warehouse's physical condition.
• Assist the Superintendent in maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Perform other related or assigned duties to benefit the Company.
• Maintain good attendance.
