About The Position

Holmen Cheese is hiring a Warehouse Team Member for 1st shift. The role focuses on preparing production for shipment, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. It is a fast-paced, physical warehouse position that occasionally involves using a stand-up lift truck.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
Experience working within an ERP system.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.

Responsibilities

Cage and de-cage product to prepare it for shipping.
Use a vacuum lift assist device to move product.
Palletize product for shipping.
Maintain warehouse security, including sealed doors and properly working lights, dock plates, and levelers.
Enter warehouse operations in the JustFoods ERP system.
Drive a stand-up forklift and load according to the load sheet.
Load and unload trucks.
Ensure production has the materials needed for production runs.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
Ensure a high degree of detail and quality on every job.
Control and organize storage and inventory space.
Inspect trucks for appropriate sanitary conditions on incoming and outgoing shipments and complete inbound/outbound inspection documentation.
Ensure seals are placed on outgoing shipments and intact on incoming shipments.
Prepare bills of lading with product information, common carrier information, seal number, and temperature requirements.
Serve as a HACCP team member.
