About The Position

The Warehouse Shift Lead helps ensure the team maximizes productivity during each shift while adhering to safety standards. The role works with the On-Site Manager to set shift and operating schedules, supports recruiting and employee development, and helps enforce company safety and HR policies. It also includes warehouse and forklift work, equipment checks, quality inspection, recordkeeping, basic financial data entry, and maintaining a clean and safe facility. The position is with Relogistics, a pallet management services company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisor or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift and operating schedules that best serve local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange maintenance for office equipment.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Record movements promptly and legibly on the proper forms.
• Assist the On-Site Manager with local employee relations issues.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move them to the appropriate staging area.
• Check that loads are secure.
• Ensure daily equipment checks are performed on all industrial power equipment.
• Examine products to verify they meet quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Complete assignments accurately, on time, and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
