About The Position

The Warehouse Shift Lead helps ensure the team maximizes productivity during each shift while adhering to high safety standards. Working with the On-Site Manager, the Shift Lead helps set shift and operating schedules to serve local customers, supports recruiting and employee development, and helps manage local employee relations issues. The role also includes warehouse and forklift work, tracking material movements, checking load security and equipment, verifying product quality, entering basic financial data, maintaining supplies and office equipment, and keeping the workplace clean and safe.

The position is based at 700 Westport Parkway, Fort Worth, Texas. The scheduled shift is Wednesday through Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of supervisor or lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift and operating schedules that best serve local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements promptly and legibly on the proper forms.
• Assist the On-Site Manager with local employee relations issues.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move them to the appropriate staging area within the facility.
• Check that loads are secure.
• Ensure daily equipment checks are performed on all industrial power equipment.
• Examine products to verify they meet quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Complete assignments accurately, promptly, and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
