About The Position

Select cases and other containers of food and non-food products from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems to fill customer orders. Place items on pallets and move completed orders to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack or forklift. Wrap and label orders for shipment, working efficiently while following safety regulations and quality standards. Work as a team member and perform other duties as assigned. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday. Sunday starts at 1:00 p.m.; Monday through Thursday starts at 3:00 p.m. Each shift ends when daily work is completed, so end times may vary with volume. Pay is $23–$26 per hour, including a $1 shift differential and up to a $2 freezer/cooler differential, plus incentive pay. The role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for an annual safety bonus and merit increases.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
6–12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and stack products weighing 10–35 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

6–12 months of electric pallet jack experience.
Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.
Experience using a motorized pallet jack.
Motorized pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

Follow company work methods, safety policies, and procedures; keep the work area safe and promptly report unsafe conditions or acts.
Review the work schedule, obtain supplies, prepare for operations, inspect the pallet jack or forklift and other safety devices, and wear required personal protective equipment and safety gear.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Place pallets on a pallet jack and travel assigned multi-level racks to locate products according to order sheets.
Manually select and place stock items from pick slots and racks onto pallets, using single or double pallets as directed.
Transport completed palletized orders to the shipping dock staging area and shrink-wrap pallets when required.
Replace or recharge batteries, complete vehicle inspection checklists, secure equipment at shift end, and complete required paperwork.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
