About The Position

Gordon Food Service is hiring a full-time Warehouse Selector at its distribution center in Springfield, Ohio. Warehouse staff support order processing and delivery to customers. Selectors work on their feet for 10 hours, lift up to 100 pounds, and work in freezer conditions. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Starting pay is $20.90 per hour, plus a $1 second-shift premium. Pay scales with production and efficiency, and the posting states selectors earn two pay raises in their first year. On average, selectors take home 122% of their base salary. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 6:50 p.m. and working until completion, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed and tolerate extreme cold or hot conditions. Applicants must be at least 18, communicate in English, and successfully pass a drug test and background check.
