About The Position

As a warehouse selector on Wegmans’ distribution team, you’ll help deliver exceptional service by accurately and efficiently selecting products for Wegmans stores. The role uses attention to detail and teamwork to ensure orders are selected and handled successfully. Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week. The listed pay is $20.50 per hour; frozen positions earn an additional $2.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Lift 20–25 pounds on average, with weights greater than 50 pounds lifted occasionally to frequently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.

Responsibilities

• Build pallets safely and efficiently to minimize product damage during transportation and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties, which may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards, specifications, and requirements for all products.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other necessary communication.
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads with temperature requirements.
