About The Position
As a warehouse selector on Wegmans’ distribution team, you’ll help deliver exceptional service by accurately and efficiently selecting products for Wegmans stores. You’ll use attention to detail and teamwork to ensure success. Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week. Frozen positions earn an extra $2.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.
Responsibilities
- Build pallets of product safely and efficiently to minimize damage during transportation and maximize trailer space.
- Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties; this may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect.
- Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
- Maintain knowledge of quality standards, specifications, and requirements for all products.
- Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other necessary communication.
- Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads with temperature requirements.
