About The Position

The Warehouse Security Officer works at a warehouse and guard house to help maintain a safe and secure environment for the client. The role includes monitoring the premises, observing and reporting activities and incidents, patrolling the site, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. This is a full-time position scheduled Friday through Tuesday, 0600–1400, paying $17.25 per hour. Duties include walking approximately one mile, recording refrigerator temperatures, conducting foot patrols, and controlling access while processing trucks entering and leaving the site. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Wear composite boots.
Be able to perform the stated physical duties, including walking approximately one mile.
