About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer for a site in Compton, California. The officer will patrol secure and sensitive areas, control access, monitor security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, document actions, and help protect people and property. The role requires walking and standing throughout the shift. Full-time and part-time schedules are listed across morning and graveyard shifts, Monday through Friday or on Friday and Sunday, depending on the shift selected. The hourly wage is $19. Uniforms are provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Have a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional security training may be obtained during the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

• First aid certification.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to identify suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
