About The Position

Warehouse Scrubber Operators work as part of the C&S Sanitation team to maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the facilities, supporting the workplace and the delivery of high-quality products. The position is based at 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and pays $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The role operates and maintains a scrubber machine to clean warehouse docks, aisles, and the repack room. It also includes cleaning spills and wet areas, completing daily progress logs, and functioning as a porter when needed. The work environment may include grocery dry-goods areas with temperatures of about 50°–90°.

Requirements

Demonstrate attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
Continually stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot for up to 90% of the shift.
Walk on various surfaces, including concrete, tile, and carpet.
Frequently lift products weighing 1–60 pounds or more, including from floor level to overhead.
Possibly work on multiple levels of varying height.
Safely handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools.

Responsibilities

Operate the scrubber machine to routinely clean warehouse docks and aisles, and record progress daily in the provided log.
Clean product spills and wet areas as directed by a supervisor.
Clean and perform routine maintenance on the scrubber machine, including cleaning its reservoir and adding new solution.
Function as a porter when necessary.
Scrub the repack room daily, occasionally moving repack machinery to clean underneath it.
Perform other tasks assigned by a supervisor.
