About The Position
Warehouse Scrubber Operators are part of the C&S Sanitation team and help maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the facility. The role supports a safe, prideful work environment and the delivery of high-quality products to customers. The position pays $20.00 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at 500 North Street, Windsor Locks, Connecticut. The work environment may include grocery dry-goods areas with temperatures of approximately 50°–90°.
Requirements
- Meet expectations for attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and company values.
- Be able to perform the physical demands described, including standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting, walking on varied surfaces, and safely handling sharp objects such as box-cutting tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate the scrubber machine to routinely scrub warehouse docks and aisles, and record progress daily in the provided log.
- Clean product spills and wet areas as directed by the supervisor.
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on the scrubber machine, including cleaning the reservoir and adding new solution.
- Function as a porter when necessary.
- Scrub the repack room daily, occasionally moving repack machinery to clean underneath it.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
