Warehouse Sanitation-2nd Shift
About The Position
Performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks in a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. The role may require operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles and may involve working with cleaning chemicals. The employee follows safety rules and completes assigned duties according to business needs. This is a night position scheduled Sunday through Thursday, starting at 3:30 p.m. and continuing until work is complete. Pay is $14 per hour, plus a $2-per-hour attendance bonus.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 0–6 months of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience.
- Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
Responsibilities
- Complete work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines; promptly report unsafe conditions or acts.
- Be certified to operate all required equipment.
- Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
- Handle cleaning chemicals as directed in hazardous-material safety sheets.
- Complete assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
- Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies and standards.
