About The Position

A Warehouse Associate at Reading Truck performs general warehouse duties to meet the needs of internal and external customers. The role supports the warehouse’s organizational goals and involves material handling, order picking, stocking, shipping and receiving support, truck staging, inventory cycle counts, and maintaining an orderly work area. The associate also participates in 5S and LEAN initiatives.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Warehouse Associate.

• Manufacturing industry or background experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials to and from designated areas such as racks, shelves, and vehicles.
• Pull and pick orders for any type of pick ticket.
• Stock all parts received by receiving agents.
• Assist with shipping and receiving administration as needed.
• Drive and/or stage trucks.
• Participate in cycle counts.
• Participate in 5S and LEAN initiatives.
• Help maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work in conjunction with the organizational goals of the warehouse.
