About The Position

DecoPac, Inc. is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Pick Pack employee for its clean, highly automated distribution center in Anoka, Minnesota. The role is responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (second shift).

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, with occasional overtime and/or weekend hours for full-time shifts.
Ability to use stairs to work on a second level of the shipping floor.
Ability to lift and push or pull up to 40 pounds, and to bend, stoop, or reach above the shoulders and below the knees in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate verbally with co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to follow instructions on work processes.
Ability to maintain working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
Strong attention to detail.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is desired.
Prior shipping experience is desired.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and check orders to ensure quality and timely processing.
Operate integrated warehouse systems, including handheld barcode scanners.
Meet individual performance standards.
Observe inventory levels to help prevent product shortages.
Use and understand personal protective equipment.
Follow Good Distribution Practices to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination when handling or packing food and food-contact products.
Report food safety concerns to Warehouse Management, the SQF Practitioner, or HR. Set aside any open food product found and immediately notify Warehouse Management or the SQF Practitioner for disposal.
Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
