About The Position

Deseret Book is hiring seasonal workers at its warehouse and distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves picking, packing, receiving, and distributing merchandise according to shipping labels, invoices, and purchase orders. Workers safely operate warehouse machinery and use computer information systems, following established procedures to ensure quality and accurate order fulfillment. The second shift runs from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Employees work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays, through January 30, 2027; the facility is closed on Sundays.

Requirements

Be accurate and detail-oriented.
Be willing to take and follow directions.
Have good manual and physical dexterity.
Have basic computer keyboard and data-entry skills.
Be able to read and write English.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Be able to stand for long periods.
Be able to stoop, bend, and reach.
Be available to work Mondays through Fridays and some Saturdays through 1/30/2027.

Responsibilities
