About The Position

Alloy Fasteners is seeking positive, reliable, and hard-working team players to join their growing warehouse distribution facility in New Paris, Indiana. This role involves processing orders with a focus on customer satisfaction, accuracy, and inventory traceability. The position is hands-on and requires attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to teamwork. The warehouse operates under ISO guidelines, and all roles require adherence to safety regulations.

Requirements

• Lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• Standing on feet for extended periods of time.
• Working in reasonably warm/cool environments at times.
• A solid track record of focused and productive work is desired.
• Safety-toe boots or shoes are required.

Nice To Haves

• Training and experience with forklift driving.
• Training and experience with use of calipers.
• Training and experience with computers.

Responsibilities

• Specializing in a specific warehouse function: Packing, Picking, or Shipping/Receiving.
• Operating equipment such as digital scales, calipers, computers, and forklifts.
• Providing Quality Control by inspecting all products before and after packing, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged and processed according to ISO regulations.
• Counting, handling, and inspecting large quantities of products daily.
• Ensuring accurate inspections and quantities.
• Working as a team, knowing when to ask for help and when to assist teammates.
• Following all safety regulations.
• Operating under ISO guidelines.
• Maintaining clear tasks, positions, and organization for productivity.
• Performing repetitive actions to maximize consistent, high-quality results.
