About The Position

Alloy Fasteners is seeking positive, reliable, and hard-working team members to join their growing warehouse distribution facility in Cranston, Rhode Island. The position offers hands-on, engrossing work in a dynamic and growing environment.

Requirements

Lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
Standing on feet for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in reasonably warm/cool environments.
Solid track record of focused and productive work.
Safety-toe boots or shoes are required.
Treating everyone with kindness and respect.
Taking ownership/responsibility.
Holding yourself accountable to your team.
Steering and embracing innovation in an effort to meet customer satisfaction.

Nice To Haves

Forklift driving experience.
Experience with calipers.
Computer experience.

Responsibilities

Specialize in a specific warehouse function: Packing, Picking, or Shipping/Receiving.
Operate equipment including digital scales, calipers, computers, and forklifts.
Provide Quality Control by inspecting all products before and after packing, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged and processed according to ISO regulations.
Ensure timely accuracy in inspections and quantities.
Work as a team, knowing when to ask for help and when to assist teammates.
Follow all safety regulations.
Operate under ISO guidelines.
Maintain clear tasks, positions, and organization for productivity.
Perform repetitive actions to maximize consistent, high-quality results.
