About The Position

Alloy Fasteners is seeking positive, reliable, hard-working team players to join their growing warehouse distribution facility in Cranston, Rhode Island. The company creates products to help hold the world together and is looking for individuals to help process orders. Requirements

• Lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• Standing on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work in reasonably warm/cool environments.
• A solid track record of focused and productive work is desired.
• Safety-toe boots or shoes are required.
• Treating everyone with kindness and respect.
• Taking ownership/responsibility.
• Holding yourself accountable to your team.

Nice To Haves

• Training and Experience with forklift driving.
• Experience with use of calipers.

Responsibilities

• Specializing in a specific warehouse function: Packing, Picking, or Shipping/Receiving.
• Operating equipment: Including digital scales, calipers, computers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Providing Quality Control: Inspecting all products before and after packing, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged and processed according to ISO regulations.
• Counting, handling, and inspecting large quantities of products daily.
• Ensuring accurate inspections and quantities.
• Working as a Team: Knowing when to ask for help, and when to assist teammates.
• Following all safety regulations.
• Operating under ISO guidelines.
• Maintaining clear tasks, positions, and organization for productivity.
• Performing repetitive actions that maximize consistent, high-quality results.
