About The Position

The Warehouse Order Selector fills retail customer orders in the Order Processing department using several pick methods, including Single Carton Fill, Multi Carton Fill, and Batch Cart. The position uses a headset, handheld device, and computer-generated documents to select 2D and 3D products from warehouse bins, then pack items into cartons and place cartons on a conveyor system. Employees are expected to meet production expectations and maintain high quality and customer service by following standard operating procedures. Flexibility to work across all of the described picking methods is required. Teamwork, cooperation, flexibility, and applying LEAN principles to solve problems and eliminate waste are expected. Employees are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their peers, including following safety policies and procedures and reporting injuries and unsafe conditions. Department business needs may result in additions or changes to the duties. The position is located at Hallmark's Liberty Distribution Center in Liberty, Missouri. Relocation is not provided, and work at all Liberty/DC locations may be required.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Able to read, write, and understand English.
Able to stand, walk, push and pull, and reach above shoulder level constantly.
Able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds constantly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Flexibility to fill in across all work types described.

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate a PC in a Windows environment.
