About The Position

Responsible for filling stores’ orders accurately, productively, and safely. Performs all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws, while demonstrating the company’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. The role requires the ability to perform its essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends frequently.
• Ability to work overtime regularly.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Ability to meet production standards.

Nice To Haves

• High school education or GED plus one year of work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Select orders.
• Read orders to determine item numbers and merchandise quantities.
• Build pallets and sort merchandise.
• Obtain merchandise from bins, shelves, and pick slots.
• Submit completed orders to shipping.
• Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with corporate policies and applicable laws.
