About The Position

The Warehouse Order Puller operates a stand-up forklift or reach truck and uses an RF scan gun to accurately pull orders. The role prints labels and prepares pallets for shipment in a fast-paced environment, with a consistent focus on safety and accuracy. The employee maintains equipment through daily inspections, follows company rules and work processes, and helps maintain a safe workplace.

The position also involves 5S duties and cross-training with department coworkers to improve the knowledge, flexibility, and efficiency of the team. Employees may be assigned other duties by management for training, assistance, or other needs. The role requires regular lifting and moving of items up to 45 pounds, along with exposure to typical warehouse equipment, noise, and other conditions described below.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with the public and employees at any level.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment and pull the required number of orders per day.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations.
• Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
