About The Position

The Order Puller fills electronically transmitted orders using a scanner gun, manually lifts cases or buckets of paint onto pallets, and uses a rider jack to deliver pallets to the loading department. The role helps keep the shipping department operating smoothly, drivers on schedule, and paint supplied to stores. It is physically demanding and requires repeated lifting of approximately 40-pound cases and 75-pound buckets throughout the day, with safe and accurate work practices. New hires receive training before beginning order-pulling work. The facility is described as clean, and employees help maintain that cleanliness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40 to 75 pounds throughout the day.
• Reliable attendance.
• Work safely while lifting and handling paint products.
• Wear steel-toed shoes and other required safety equipment.

Nice To Haves

• No previous paint or warehousing experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend required training, including safety training, before pulling orders on the floor.
• Participate in the beginning-of-shift safety meeting and stretching routine.
• Use a scanner gun to pull electronically assigned orders.
• Manually lift cases and buckets of paint onto pallets.
• Use a rider jack to transport pallets to the loading department.
• Work safely, promptly, and accurately to support shipping operations and keep drivers on schedule.
• Help maintain a clean facility.
• Wear required safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes.
