About The Position

The Order Puller fills orders using a scanner gun, manually lifts paint cases and buckets onto pallets, and uses a rider jack to deliver pallets to the loading department. The role helps keep shipping operations moving safely, accurately, and on schedule. It is physically demanding and requires repeated lifting throughout the day. The facility is described as clean, and the employee is expected to help keep it that way.

Employees complete training before pulling orders on the floor, including safety training. Each shift begins with a safety meeting and stretches. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 40 to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Ability and willingness to work and lift safely.
• Reliable attendance.
• Wear steel-toed shoes and other required safety equipment.

• No previous paint or warehousing experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Fill orders using a scanner gun.
• Manually lift cases and buckets of paint onto pallets; cases weigh about 40 pounds and buckets about 75 pounds.
• Use a rider jack to move pallets to the loading department.
• Work safely, accurately, and in a timely manner to support shipping operations and keep drivers on schedule.
• Attend required training, including safety training, before pulling orders on the floor.
• Participate in the safety meeting and stretches at the beginning of each shift.
• Wear required safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes, at all times.
• Help keep the facility clean.
• Meet attendance expectations.
