About The Position

As a Warehouse Selector, you will select, gather, and organize general merchandise products and prepare orders for delivery to local customers and stores. The role focuses on accurate and efficient order selection in a friendly, safety-focused distribution environment. The warehouse is designed to reduce heavy lifting, and the work involves light distribution and minimal physical requirements. The position is full-time on the first shift in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and pays $20.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Requirements

General Equivalency Diploma in General Studies or a High School Diploma in General Studies.
Ability and willingness to follow material-handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Ability to safely lift products weighing 1–60 pounds or more, including lifting from floor to overhead.
Ability to stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot for up to 90% of the shift and walk 6–12 miles per day on varying surfaces.
Ability to work on multiple levels of varying heights.

Responsibilities

Pick items using order sheets or an audio headset.
Stack items on pallets for wrapping and loading at bay doors.
Ensure order accuracy while following safety standards.
Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove product cases from storage racks and place them on pallets; apply selection labels to cases when applicable.
Use proper wrapping techniques to protect products from damage.
Inform a supervisor of differences in case quantity or product description.
Inspect equipment and complete the appropriate inspection form.
Follow safe operating procedures for material-handling equipment.
Safely lift cases of varying weights, shapes, and heights.
Handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools, safely.
