About The Position

eFulfillment Service is hiring team members to pick, pack, and ship online merchandise orders at its Traverse City, Michigan location. eFS is a family-owned third-party logistics company that warehouses and distributes merchandise for e-commerce sellers. The role performs day-to-day order fulfillment functions, including picking, labeling, packing, rating, adding dunnage and taping, and shipping, with accurate output and maximum productivity. Four 10-hour day shifts are available. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Requirements

Ability to perform order fulfillment work accurately and productively.
Proficiency in operating production-line equipment, including bagging, taping, and dunnage machines, and computer systems.
Ability to follow safety and company policies.
Ability to communicate order fulfillment issues to the department lead.

Responsibilities

Read pick sheets or orders to identify the correct SKU, quantity, and warehouse location; retrieve the products and return them to the sorting area.
Select an appropriately sized box, pack the product, and move it to the rating station.
Verify the number of boxes, scan the order and box size, process the order, apply the appropriate label, and move the product to the shipping station.
Add the necessary amount of paper dunnage, fold box tops, and move boxes through the taping machine.
Verify package counts, scan rated labels to produce shipping labels, process special shipping requests such as third-party bills, and place packages on the appropriate pallet or in the correct carrier bin.
Perform at a high level with or without direct supervision.
Communicate order fulfillment issues to the department lead so they can be resolved promptly.
Update job codes in the time clock system when moving between job functions.
Follow safety policies and company policies, and encourage peers to do the same.
Operate production-line equipment, including bagging, taping, and dunnage machines, as well as computer systems.
Perform additional duties as required.
