About The Position

The Warehouse Order Builder is responsible for preparing and accurately building customer orders for shipment. The role uses pick tickets and voice-picking software to assemble quality orders, secure them for transport, and stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas. The position requires following good manufacturing practices and warehouse safety standards, meeting daily productivity requirements, and being capable of operating industrial powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.

The work takes place in a warehouse where temperatures vary with the seasons and involves frequent movement throughout the facility, constant bending and squatting, and frequent lifting of full product cases weighing 50 pounds or less. Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company produces, sells, and distributes Coca-Cola and Monster beverages across Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification upon hire is required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior experience using a pallet jack or forklift preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders from pick tickets and build them for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Build accurate, quality product orders and secure them for transport before loading.
• Operate industrial powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Use voice-picking software to meet or exceed company productivity and accuracy standards.
• Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP) and warehouse safety standards.
• Meet daily productivity requirements.
• Stage completed pallets in designated shipping areas.
