About The Position

Quadra is seeking a motivated, autonomous, and team-oriented Warehouse and Bulk Handling Operator to join their operations team in Delta, BC. This role involves managing and overseeing bulk transportation operations using both truck and rail systems, requiring expertise in bulk truck handling and rail logistics for safe and efficient material handling. The company is a leader in chemical and ingredient distribution, with over 45 years of experience and a growing presence in Canada and the United States. Requirements

  • Bulk truck handling experience
  • Rail experience
  • Experience as a warehouse operator in a distribution environment
  • High school diploma or completed equivalencies
  • Team spirit, motivation and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with chemicals
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, great ability to communicate and solve different issues
  • Ability to push, lift and hold loads of up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Must demonstrate particular attention to safety standards
  • Good teamwork skills, self-motivation and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Better than average computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with hazardous material would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with WHMIS / TDG would be an asset
  • Computer experience with Warehouse Management System software is preferred
  • Experience with JD Edwards will be considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage the shipping and receiving of products in accordance with established procedures, including both warehouse and bulk truck/rail operations
  • Maintain accurate inventory through regular cycle counts and monitoring
  • Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation in a timely manner
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of all stock
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy and control
  • Keep the warehouse and work areas clean, safe, and well organized
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide support to other operational functions as needed
